You can be positive & be silly too

You don’t need to take yourself uber seriously when it comes to journaling or writing your affirmations. Whatever helps keep you in a positive mindset, do it.

If you don’t do daily (or nightly) journaling/affirmations, I highly suggest you try it. It’s truly been life changing for me, and it’s so ingrained in my routine now that I can’t relax without doing it.

It doesn’t take much.

Start with: 3 Thankful’s, 3 I Am’s and 3 Affirmations – it’ll take less than 10 minutes. You can even do it on your phone.

There are journaling apps, blog sites that you can keep private (like this one), and then there’s your good ‘ol notes app.

There’s no wrong way to start getting a more positive perspective on life.

THANKFULS

1: I’m grateful Dante had the day off from school and that we got to hang out all day.

2: I’m grateful I had the pain threshold enough to go slowly on the workout bike this morning.

3: I’m grateful my grandson started saying “mama” today at 9 months old.

AFFIRMATIONS

1: I’m tough. It’s ok to take naps, it’s not ok to give up.

2: I am a relentless ray of fucking sunshine.

3: I’m not lost in life, I’m merely taking the scenic route, and that’s ok.

1: I am a badass

2: I am a good mom

3: I am a funny chick
