Thanks for Joining Me

I’ve been making content videos for 2 years now, and I couldn’t be more grateful that I started this journey into social media. For years I wanted a way to share my unique perspective in life, to offer guidance and encouragement to others who live with chronic illness, mental health challenges, daily pain, limitations, have trauma or have ANY struggle within their universe, but I lacked the courage to take any action. (No pun intended 😂) Not to mention, I had ZERO clue about filming/editing videos or how to make anything that would even remotely resonate as “entertaining.” But, one day I finally took a leap and I never looked back.

Do I have a lot of followers? No. Do I make any money? Nope. But that’s not why I make content. I do it because
A: it’s a super fun hobby & I love taking pictures and videos of my life, and I’m thoroughly enjoying teaching myself/learning how to edit.
B: I know that if I connect with just one person and they feel seen or they learn something from me, then I made a difference and that is all I can hope for.
C: But, mostly, I do it for me. It’s a creative outlet that I have come to crave, and it’s healing & cathartic to share my struggles, opinions, quirks, silliness and express myself in a fun, but authentic way.

I am thankful I thought to become Ginger Vee and make My Chronic Life an actual “thing” beyond an idea. I’m thankful I am documenting my healing journey and the unique life I live with my family. I’m thankful for every follower, every comment, reaction, share, save, duet, supporter, and friend I’ve received, and I am looking forward to crushing some 2024 goals as a UGC Creator. 💜
